Dr. Ahmed A. A. Abdel‑Wareth is an accomplished poultry scientist with a robust record of research productivity, having authored more than 100 papers in peer‑reviewed international journals. His academic background spans a broad spectrum of poultry science, including poultry nutrition, meat quality, production and management systems, feed formulation, nutritional biochemistry, productive performance, and nutritional physiology. He has extensive expertise in the development and evaluation of innovative feed additives and functional ingredients designed to enhance poultry health, welfare, and efficiency.

Dr. Abdel‑Wareth has led and collaborated on numerous research projects involving broilers, layers, and rabbits, combining strong skills in experimental design, project development, and statistical analysis (SAS). His work integrates both classical nutritional approaches and modern biotechnological tools. Recently, his research has expanded into emerging areas such as nanotechnology- and biotechnology‑based interventions to improve nutrient bioavailability, mitigate heat stress, and enhance overall sustainability in animal and poultry nutrition. His current research program focuses on advancing precision poultry nutrition through novel feed additives, applied production strategies, and data‑driven approaches that support efficient, environmentally responsible poultry production systems.

Dr. Ahmed A. A. Abdel-Wareth is a Research Associate Professor of Poultry Science whose research focuses on advancing poultry nutrition, health, welfare, and sustainable production systems through innovative and interdisciplinary approaches. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications in leading international journals and has established a strong reputation in poultry and animal nutrition research. His expertise encompasses poultry nutrition, feed formulation, nutritional physiology, nutritional biochemistry, meat quality, poultry production and management systems, and productive performance. Dr. Abdel-Wareth’s research emphasizes the development and evaluation of novel feed additives, functional ingredients, and precision nutrition strategies that enhance animal health, production efficiency, product quality, and environmental sustainability. Throughout his career, he has led and collaborated on numerous research projects involving broiler chickens, laying hens, and rabbits, with extensive experience in experimental design, grant development, statistical analysis, and data modeling. His multidisciplinary research integrates traditional nutritional sciences with modern technologies, including biotechnology, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and data analytics, to address emerging challenges in animal agriculture. Current research efforts focus on precision poultry nutrition, AI-driven decision support systems, predictive modeling of animal performance and health, innovative feed technologies, heat stress mitigation, nutrient bioavailability enhancement, and sustainable production practices that improve productivity while reducing environmental impact. Through collaborative research, student mentoring, and industry engagement, Dr. Abdel-Wareth is committed to developing science-based solutions that support efficient, resilient, and environmentally responsible poultry production systems.
